Most brands don't actually design for sizes 14–32. They take a smaller pattern, add more fabric, and hope it works.
But plus-size bodies don't just need more fabric. They need:
- Better stretch distribution
- Waistbands that don't collapse
- Seams that don't dig
- Sizing that's genuinely true to size
Scaling up isn't designing properly. And that's where most brands quietly fail.
It's not your body. It's their shortcuts.
